OR3 : Doped nanodiamonds for medical diagnostic and quantum optics
Nanomagnetic materials are widely studied for their outstanding properties in numerous area of emergent quantum technologies, such as nanoscale magnetometry, quantum metrology, information processing and communications, as well as for high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In the last years, hyperpolarized 13C based MRI has emerged for in vivo applications. In particular, nanodiamonds (ND) offer exciting possibilities as novel hyperpolarized probes. In this context, the team participates in the HYPERDIAMOND project, which was part of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
