Low temperature synthesis of oxides nanoparticles in aqueous medium

Nanomaterials are largely studied as they can present improved or new properties compared to their micron size counterparts. Synthesis of oxide nanoparticles is usually performed via sol-gel methods using hazardous solvents. The aim of this research topic is to develop simple, fast and safe processes with high yield to produce large amounts of nanoparticles. Many oxide systems are explored such as doped-ZnO, SnO2 or (Mn,Co)3O4 spinels.
